Is anyone watching Flashpoint? That's a fun sort of show, isn't it? It's nice to see that sort of show come from Canada for once.

A request: Does anyone have that 'when I grow up' song that's all over the place right now? It's in the House Bunny trailers and in the new America's Next Top Model promos. I don't know who sings it, though.

I got my dvds today thanks to friends in good places. I'm happy about that since the gag reel leaked today. I really didn't want to be spoiled for the gag reel until I could see it on my own copy. And now I have so I'm sharing the caps with everyone else!

But please, please, please if you're using these caps for any of your own graphic needs or picspams or ANYTHING, put them behind a cut and warn for the people who are waiting to see everything from their own copies, okay? I know there's nothing really spoilery on the gag reel but it's funnier if you don't have the gags ruined for you before you get to see it on your own, you know?

Like the past two seasons this season has been capped frame-by-frame so they'll hopefully be useful for animations and the like. ;)

Here's my August 19, 2008, in which I was reunited with my college roommates and we departed on an epic roadtrip (of two hours) to Jersey to visit our other roommate who has been living on the Jersey Shore all summer and working in a singing ice cream shop. I made these for dessert Sunday night.



I call them strawberry roses. I think I'm going to make these for a party we're having this weekend, and swirl some chocolate sauce on the serving tray underneath them, and serve them with champagne and/or mimosas. I may just use whipped cream for that, but for these I piped in a little of the filling I had left over from Sunday brunch, ( stuffed French toast. )

We had our yearly meeting with my foodie friends last week. Our top baker made Pavlova.
